Yoga Ethics workshop with Jody Schrock
Are you seeking to add another dimension to your yoga practice?
Yoga Ethics, as guided by Jody Schrock, approaches the basic tenets of
yogic philosophy with a unique adaptation to our Western mode of
thought. A Reiki Master and instructor of Anahat Yoga, Ms. Schrock
focuses on the study of two of the eights limbs of consciousness, the
yamas (restraints) and niymamas (observances) and the development of
one's inner resources.
Each class will feature two particular ethics, a group discussion
and a meditation session.
Alice Christensen's book, Yoga of the Heart, is drawn from and
required reading.

Chapters 4-5 Nonviolence & Truthfulness
April 18th 2:00-4:30pm Chapters 6-7 Nonstealing & Celibacy
April 25th 2:00-4:30pm Chapters 8-9 Nonhoarding & Purity
May 16th 2:00-4:30pm Chapters 10-11 Contentment & Tolerance
May 23rd 2:00-4:30pm Chapters 12-13 Study & Remembrance
Cost of the Yoga Ethics course is $150 and includes the price of the book
